ADMISSION PROCESS
Harrow International School Bengaluru is open for students from Upper Kindergarten to Grade 5 for day students seeking to join the Primary School and from Grade 6 (UK Year 7) onwards, for boarding or day students seeking to join the Secondary School.

Our admissions process is a thorough one, designed to ensure that places are offered to those students who are most ready to benefit from the high-achieving academic and holistic programme that we provide.

01 Stage

Our admissions team will be pleased to answer your initial questions and arrange an opportunity for you to attend an introductory information session with our Head of School.

02 Stage

REGISTRATION

Please register your child by completing the online registration form.

You will be able to indicate on the form whether you wish your child to be a full boarder, a weekly boarder or a day student. You will be asked to upload the ID page of your child’s passport and copies of their two most recent school reports. Registration will be complete on payment of the non-refundable Registration Fee of INR 15,000/-

03 Stage

THE HARROW ASSESSMENT

Upper Kindergarten and Primary School Applicants:
Candidates will be invited to visit the campus for an informal assessment with a member of our primary school team.

Secondary School Applicants:
Selected candidates will be invited to attend an assessment session called the Harrow Test. When possible, this will take place through an in-person appointment, although arrangements can be made for it to be carried out online where necessary. The Harrow Test comprises a computerised English and Maths assessment (one hour in total) followed by a short interview with the Head of School.

04 Stage

RESULTS

In the days following completion of the Harrow Test, applicants receive one of the following results:

  • A List - The offer of a place at the school
  • B List - The offer of a place on our Waiting List, allowing reappraisal at a later date
  • C List - No offer

Families are asked to confirm their acceptance of a place within two weeks of receiving the admission offer letter, paying the required deposit as detailed in the invoice.

Offers will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory reference from the applicant’s current school, which will be sought as soon as a place is accepted.
